Operations & Governance — Mentoring
Running a company is mostly decisions made alone, at speed.
You don’t need another course or a shelf of business books. You need someone who’s seen the same problem a hundred times, who understands operations, finance and people — and who will tell you when you’re wrong.
Who it’s for
Owners, MDs, and the person who somehow ended up running operations.
You’re good at the work your company does. But running the company itself — hiring, pricing, cash flow, delegation, structure — is a different skill set, and nobody teaches it.
Our mentoring is a regular, structured conversation with someone who has done the operational side at companies your size. Not theory. Not frameworks from a textbook. Real experience applied to your actual problems, on your actual timeline.
What we end up talking about.
Hiring & structure
When to hire, what to hire for, how to structure a team that doesn’t depend on you for every decision.
Pricing
What to charge, how to present it, when to walk away. Most owners under-price because nobody ever told them not to.
Where to spend next
Marketing, tools, people, premises — where the next pound should go based on where you are, not where LinkedIn says you should be.
Systems & delegation
How to build processes that survive without you, delegate properly, and stop being the bottleneck in your own company.
How it works
Simple, structured, and on your terms.
Someone in your corner.
Who will also tell you when you’re wrong.
Pricing
From £650 a month.
Most clients pair mentoring with the efficiency audit — but it works as a standalone engagement too.
What happens in a session?
You set the agenda. Some months it’s a specific problem — a difficult hire, a pricing decision, a process that isn’t working. Other months it’s a broader check-in on direction and priorities. We adapt to whatever’s most useful.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Three months, then rolling monthly. Most clients stay much longer, but you can stop whenever it stops being useful.
Can I contact you between sessions?
Yes. Between-session access is included — email or message whenever something comes up. We won’t always reply instantly, but we won’t leave you hanging either.
